It is an homage to the infamous Pe'ahi break in Maui, where 24 men and 12 women are invited each year to face some of the most challenging and daring waves on the planet. Like those surfers pusing the 80-foot barrier, this box represents us pushing our culinary limits to the edge.
Or, perhaps, it was named after a certain movie about a great white shark with an attitude?
