Shipping policy

Shipping and Delivery Costs

Our shipments are fulfilled through PostNL and/or DHL. Unless otherwise stated, we aim to have orders sent within 5 business days. If you have signed up for our subscription services, your subscription will begin the month after you sign up, unless there are less than 7 days left in the current month, then it will begin in 2 months. 

Our products ship on weekdays; weekend shipping is not available. Orders placed between Friday and Sunday will be sent out for delivery the following week. Whilst we try to work with the best shipping available to us, we want to avoid our goods being stored in warm shipping facilities and delivery trucks. We have no control over the handling and transportation of our sweets en route to you. These are variables that we cannot control. ​

If you should have a time sensitive order, please contact us via phone (also available on WhatsApp) or email so that the necessary arrangements can be made.

As stated above, our shipments are fulfilled through PostNL and/or DHL. Local deliveries can be picked up free of charge, whereas deliveries within Netherlands cost 4,95. Deliveries to other European countries are calculated at checkout based on the information you have provided, in accordance with the rates offered by PostNL and DHL. Should you require further information, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our utmost to help and/or solve the issue as quickly as possible.

Additional Information, as stated in Article 13 – Delivery and Execution of the Terms and Conditions of Service

  1. Sweet Sea Desserts shall exercise the best possible care when booking orders and executing product orders and when assessing requests for the provision of services.
  2. The place of delivery is at the address given by the Consumer to Sweet Sea Desserts.
  3. With due observance of the stipulations in Article 4 of these General Terms and Conditions, Sweet Sea Desserts shall execute accepted orders with convenient speed but at least within 30 days, unless another delivery period was agreed on. If the delivery has been delayed, or if an order cannot be filled or can be filled only partially, the Consumer shall be informed about this within one month after ordering. In such cases, the Consumer is entitled to repudiate the contract free of charge and with the right to possible compensation.
  4. After repudiation in conformity with the preceding paragraph, Sweet Sea Desserts shall return the payment made by the Consumer promptly but at least within 30 days after repudiation.
  5. The risk of loss and/or damage to products will be borne by Sweet Sea Desserts until the time of delivery to the Consumer or a representative appointed in advance and made known to the Consumer, unless explicitly agreed otherwise. Â
